If you’ve recently taken delivery of your new Thor Motor Coach, odds are you’re excited to hit the road. But first, let us share our first-time camping tips with you.
Before you take any trips, be sure to watch the How-To video for your Class B+ motorhome. Our video team created an in-depth guide for each motorhome, so you have a reference for how to work all of your motorhome’s components. The best part is that you can go back to watch these any time you want! While you’re there, subscribe to our channel to stay up-to-date with the latest how-to and troubleshooting videos.
It may be tempting to plan a cross-country trip for your first outing, but it’s a good idea to do a trip closer to home first - especially if it’s your first time owning a Class C motorhome. Although one of our owners wrote a blog containing her RV trip packing list, there’s a chance you’ll leave a must-have behind that you hadn’t thought of before. If your first trip is closer to home, it’ll be easier to go get it, and you can write it down on your own list before a longer or farther trip.
With just a few clicks and your camper van’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), you’ll have access to an online resource library. The Owners Resource gives you access to important information on your motorhome, including factory-installed components and equipment, owner’s manuals and more (starting at the 2010 model year). If you have trouble, we even have an instructional video guide to help you create an account on the sign-up page.
We are consistently providing new content to assist our owners and we update our one-stop how-to guide frequently. With everything from blogs about cleaning your toy hauler to lifestyle activities and recipes (also available in video form), it’s filled with information you’ll need on the road. Feel free to bookmark this page on your web browser for convenience. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, send us a message on social media and we’ll add it to our to-do list!
