Our Class A diesel motorhomes, sometimes called diesel pushers because the engine is in the rear of the coach, are built on a heavy-duty Freightliner® chassis, where the driving compartment integrates with the interior of the vehicle.
Class A diesel pushers often look like busses. They are a popular choice among full-time RVers because of the ample space to accommodate family and pets, and superior towing capacity to haul their vehicle. Our Class A diesel RVs range in length from 34 feet to a little over 44 feet.
Another defining feature of the Class A diesel pusher is the tag axle, available on select diesel brands. A tag axle is a trailing axle or a third axle positioned behind the rear drive axle of a recreational vehicle. A non-drive axle, it can have one or two tires on each side, which gives a capacity boost, stability in cross winds, better weight distribution, produces less stress on U-joints, and improves braking and ride quality.
