Selecting a Class A Diesel Motorhomes

Our Class A Diesel motorhome, sometimes called diesel pushers because the engine is in the reach of the coach, are built on a heavy-duty Freightliner® chassis, where the driving compartment is integrated with the interior of the vehicle. Class A Diesel pushers often look like busses. The diesel Class A is a popular choice among full-time RVers seeking ample space to accommodate the family and/or pets, and superior towing capacity to haul their vehicle(s). Our Class A diesel RVs range in length

from 34 feet to a little over 44 feet. Another defining feature of the Class A diesel pusher from Thor Motor Coach is the tag axle, available on select diesel Class A RVs. A tag axle is a trailing axle or a third axle positioned behind the rear drive axle of a recreational vehicle. A non-drive axle, it can have one or two tires on each side, which gives a capacity boost, stability in cross winds, better weight distribution, produces less stress on U-joints, and improves breaking and ride quality.
