Thor Motor Coach Class A Diesel RVs Welcome New Designs
ELKHART, IND. (June 10, 2021) – Thor Motor Coach’s Class A diesel motorhomes, Palazzo®, Aria®, Venetian® and Tuscany® embrace fresh interior décor, exterior designs and a new floor plan.
Venetian, Aria and Tuscany have all-new exterior full-body paint packages with gel-coated sidewalls which will turn heads on the road. The Freightliner® XC-R raised rail chassis pairs with a precision-cut Atlas™ foundation for a smoother ride, better fuel mileage for the Cummins® diesel engine and increased storage capacity.
Tuscany’s new 45BX floor plan is ideal for large families, sleeping up to 10 people. The family-friendly living area features bunk beds, a chaise hide-a-bed sofa, a Dream Dinette® and a bathroom. The rear master bedroom of this layout has a king-size Tilt-A-View® bed, stackable washer and dryer, and a large bathroom en suite with dual vanities. Luxurious living amenities available on every floor plan include Gold Heat® electric heat under the porcelain tile flooring and a central vacuum system with a toe-kick dustpan.
Studio Collection™ cabinetry with rake-style doors and a matte finish have become a staple of the Class A diesel motorhome products. Due to high consumer demand, the collection is now standard in every Palazzo floor plan and welcomes a new interior décor color palette, “Villa.” This color palette showcases complimentary warm tones of the flooring, bedspread, countertops and furniture, which round out the modern Studio Collection look.
Palazzo’s modern features continue in the living area. Leatherette reclining theater seats or a leatherette sofa bed makes a comfortable place to enjoy a movie on the 39 or 49-inch TV, depending on the floor plan. Tablet holders with USB charging ports are available in the bunkhouse floor plan, 33.5. The bunks quickly convert into a wardrobe, with a place to store the new telescoping ladder. An electric fireplace in the 37.4 and 37.5 floor plans give the motorhomes a residential feel.
Aria and Venetian bathrooms are revisited for the new model year, a testament to the company’s continuous improvement efforts. Aria receives refreshed rear bathroom layouts in the 3901 and 4000 floor plans and solid surface countertops in every floor plan. The Venetian F42 floor plan’s bathroom has an enhanced design with a larger shower and linen closet. Every Venetian has an Aqua-Hot® 250D hydronic furnace and water heating system for a warm shower at any time.
The diesel pushers’ amenities don’t stop at designs; there are also conveniences for the campground. Once parked, an automatic transfer switch with shore power protection reduces the risk of reverse polarity and open ground power conditions and comes with an LED light indicator. Camp is set up with the touch of a button from a smartphone or 7-inch screen, thanks to Rapid Camp+® multiplex wiring control system that’s app-enabled and protected by Surge Guard™.
